Twilight Masquerade Card List, Chase Cards and Greninja ex

Twilight Masquerade takes the Pokémon TCG to Kitakami, the setting of the Teal Mask story in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Ogerpon appears in all four of its masks, and Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Sinistcha join it, but the top card belongs to Greninja ex. This guide covers the card list, the chase cards, every Ogerpon ex, the Japanese versions and the products.

Quick facts: released May 24, 2024 · 226 cards (167 + 59 secret) · 11 special illustration rares · 6 gold hyper rares · Japanese versions: Transformation Mask and Crimson Haze.

The Teal Mask story in card form

Twilight Masquerade is based on The Teal Mask, the first part of the Scarlet and Violet DLC. The story takes place in Kitakami, a rural area with a festival of masks, and its central legend is Ogerpon. That is why Ogerpon appears four times in the set, once for each mask it can wear, with a different type for each.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Sinistcha come from the same story, and both get special illustration rares. Kieran and Carmine, the two siblings you meet in Kitakami, appear as Supporter cards, and Perrin, a photographer from the story, does too. If you played the DLC, the Twilight Masquerade card list will feel very familiar.

Twilight Masquerade card list highlights

Greninja ex

Greninja ex has three versions in the set: a double rare (106/167), an ultra rare full art (198/167) and a special illustration rare (214/167). The Greninja ex Twilight Masquerade special illustration rare is the most valuable card in the set.

Note that the Greninja ex promo cards are not in Twilight Masquerade products. They come from a Battle Deck (SVP 054) and the Shrouded Fable Special Illustration Collection (SVP 132).

All four Ogerpon ex masks

Each of Ogerpon’s four masks gets a double rare, an ultra rare and a special illustration rare:

  • Teal Mask (Grass): 025, 190 and 211, plus a gold hyper rare at 221
  • Hearthflame Mask (Fire): 040, 192 and 212
  • Wellspring Mask (Water): 064, 194 and 213
  • Cornerstone Mask (Fighting): 112, 199 and 215

There is also a non-ex Teal Mask Ogerpon at 024/167. Collecting all four special illustration rares, or the full run of thirteen Ogerpon ex cards, is a popular goal.

ACE SPEC cards

The six ACE SPEC cards are Hyper Aroma, Scoop Up Cyclone, Secret Box, Survival Brace, Unfair Stamp and Legacy Energy. These matter more to players than collectors, and cards like Unfair Stamp, Secret Box and Legacy Energy are well known in competitive play.

Twilight Masquerade chase cards

Here is the order of the most valuable cards from a March 2026 ranking:

  • Greninja ex 214/167 special illustration rare
  • Perrin 220/167 special illustration rare
  • Eevee 188/167 illustration rare
  • Carmine 217/167 special illustration rare
  • Chansey 187/167 illustration rare
  • Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex 216/167 special illustration rare
  • Lana’s Aid 219/167 special illustration rare
  • Kieran 218/167 special illustration rare
  • Hisuian Growlithe 181/167 illustration rare
  • Sinistcha ex 210/167 special illustration rare

The Teal Mask Ogerpon ex special illustration rare comes just after the top ten, and the other Ogerpon special illustration rares sit close behind it.

Supporter cards rank high

The unusual thing about the Twilight Masquerade chase cards is how well the Supporter special illustration rares do. Perrin, Carmine, Lana’s Aid and Kieran all make the top ten, which is more than most sets. The Eevee and Chansey illustration rares also beat several ex cards.

Gold hyper rares

The six gold cards are Teal Mask Ogerpon ex (221), Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex (222), Buddy-Buddy Poffin (223), Enhanced Hammer (224), Rescue Board (225) and Luminous Energy (226).

The Japanese versions

Ogerpon products and other boxes

If Ogerpon is your favourite, the Ogerpon Stacking Tin and the Masks of Ogerpon Premium Collection are built around it. The Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Box is another option. Why the set stands out

Twilight Masquerade has one of the most interesting value spreads of the Scarlet & Violet era. Instead of one or two huge cards, it has a long list of strong ones: Greninja ex, four Supporter special illustration rares, popular illustration rares like Eevee and Chansey, and thirteen Ogerpon ex cards. That makes it a fun set to open and a good one for players too, thanks to its ACE SPEC cards.

Which product should you buy?

  • For a Teal Mask Ogerpon promo and accessories: the Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box.

  • For Ogerpon fans: the Ogerpon Stacking Tin or the Masks of Ogerpon Premium Collection.
  • For Bloodmoon Ursaluna fans: the Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Box.

Tips for collecting the set

  • Sort the four Ogerpon ex masks into one binder page, with the gold Teal Mask at the end.
  • Do not skip the Supporter cards: Perrin, Carmine, Lana’s Aid and Kieran are some of the most valuable cards.
  • Keep the Eevee and Chansey illustration rares safe, as they rank above many ex cards.
  • Check the card number: anything above 167 is a secret card.
  • Remember that Greninja ex promos come from other products, not from Twilight Masquerade boxes.
