Prismatic Evolutions at a glance
The set launched at retailers worldwide on January 17, 2025, with Pokémon TCG Live getting it a day earlier. The official launch announcement listed these highlights:
- 10 Pokémon ex and 15 Tera Pokémon ex
- 6 ACE SPEC Trainer cards
- 12 ultra rare Supporter cards
- 32 special illustration rares (26 Pokémon ex and 6 Supporters)
- 5 gold-etched hyper rares
That is a very high special illustration rare count for a set of this size, which is a big part of why collectors love it.

Prismatic Evolutions card list: how the set is built
The main set runs from 001 to 131. Secret rares are numbered 132 to 180, for 180 cards in total. Within that range, the special illustration rares sit at 144 to 175 and the gold hyper rares at 176 to 180. Bulbapedia’s set page has the full checklist if you want to tick off every number.
The five gold hyper rares are Iron Leaves ex, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex, Walking Wake ex, Pikachu ex and Terapagos ex. The six Supporter special illustration rares are Amarys, Crispin, Drayton, Janine’s Secret Art, Kieran and Lacey.
Poké Ball and Master Ball patterns
The set has two premium parallel foils, with a Poké Ball or a Master Ball pattern in the card background. Common, uncommon and rare Pokémon come in all three foils: the normal reverse holo, the Poké Ball version and the Master Ball version. Common and uncommon Trainer cards only come in the normal reverse and the Poké Ball version.
The Master Ball versions are the scarcer of the two, and some are worth real money. The Umbreon 059/131 Master Ball reverse holo even made a March 2026 top-15 value list, the only card on it that was not a special illustration rare.

The Eeveelution chase cards
Almost all of the top cards are Eeveelution special illustration rares. Here is the order from a March 2026 value ranking:
- Umbreon ex 161/131
- Sylveon ex 156/131
- Leafeon ex 144/131
- Espeon ex 155/131
- Glaceon ex 150/131
- Vaporeon ex 149/131
- Flareon ex 146/131
- Roaring Moon ex 162/131
- Jolteon ex 153/131
- Eevee ex 167/131
Umbreon ex: the top chase
The Umbreon Prismatic Evolutions special illustration rare, 161/131, is the number one card in the set and one of the most famous modern Pokémon cards. Umbreon has always been a fan favorite, and this artwork made it the card everyone wanted when the set opened. If you are chasing just one card, this is it.
Sylveon, Leafeon and Espeon
Sylveon ex, Leafeon ex and Espeon ex sit right behind Umbreon. They are easier to get than the top card but still hold strong value, and many collectors aim to complete all eight Eeveelution special illustration rares as a binder page.
Eevee ex and the other Eeveelutions
The Eevee ex Prismatic Evolutions special illustration rare is number 167, and it rounds out the top ten. Glaceon, Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon complete the Eeveelution set. Roaring Moon ex is the one non-Eeveelution card that breaks into the top group.

Is there a Prismatic Evolutions booster box?
No. As a special set, there was no English booster box in the official product lineup. The largest pack-only product is the 6-pack Booster Bundle, and the rest of the packs come inside Elite Trainer Boxes, tins and collections.
In Japan, the cards come from Terastal Festival ex, which released on December 6, 2024. If you want to open a full box, the Japanese Terastal Festival ex booster box is the closest option, and it is a popular choice for Eevee collectors.

Why Prismatic Evolutions is so popular
Prismatic Evolutions arrived with huge demand. Eevee and its evolutions are among the most loved Pokémon, and putting all nine in one set, each with a special illustration rare, made it an easy pick for collectors. The Poké Ball and Master Ball patterns added a second layer of chasing, since even common cards have a premium version.
Supply was the other part of the story. Because there was no English booster box, every pack came inside a product, which made it harder to buy packs in bulk. That is one reason sealed Prismatic Evolutions products are still so sought after.

Those promos carry a set stamp, which makes them unique to this box.
Super-Premium and Premium Figure Collections
The Super-Premium Collection is the largest box in the lineup, with the most packs and premium accessories. The Premium Figure Collection came later, in September 2025. Both are big gift options for an Eevee fan.

Which product should you buy?
- For the most packs per box: the Super-Premium Collection.
